Waypoint 01 · The need
Two groups at risk of being forgotten.
So we tie them to the same line. The veteran brings discipline and hard-won experience. The young adult brings the climb. Both come home with purpose.
Waypoint 02 · How it works
One rope. Four waypoints.
01 · 6–8 weeks
Prepare
Every participant completes a 6–8-week mental and physical prep program, paired with a veteran mentor from day one to build confidence, resilience, and readiness for the challenges ahead.
02 · In the field
Expedition
A true high-adventure experience featuring mountaineering, ice climbing, scuba diving, rock climbing, and rappelling, all led by certified experts, with safety at the forefront of every adventure.
03 · Every night
Circle
Each day concludes with a Mentorship Circle, an open conversation where participants reflect on the day’s challenges, share their experiences, and celebrate how far they’ve come and how much they’ve overcome.
04 · Next tier
Lead
Complete each evolution to unlock a more challenging adventure and take on a greater leadership role. Today’s participant becomes tomorrow’s guide.

Why “Britt”
His legacy.
Christopher Brittingham
The Britt Foundation was founded in loving honor of Christopher Paul Brittingham, who went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2020, while deployed in Germany. At just 27 years old, Chris was a vibrant young man who served as a Navy SEAL, a loving son, an incredible uncle, a dear friend, an awesome brother, and an inspiring mentor. He had a unique gift for seeing the best in others and was passionate about creating an environment where people could grow, discover their potential, and become the very best versions of themselves.
Though his life was far too short, Chris lived every moment to the fullest. His joy was contagious, his faith in Jesus Christ unwavering, and his love for people, especially teenagers, ran deep. He inspired others through the way he lived, the way he loved, and the way he encouraged those around him to be better.
Chris’s legacy lives on through the Britt Foundation, carrying forward his passion for faith, mentorship, personal growth, and helping young people realize their full potential. Through this mission, we strive to honor his life by inspiring the next generation to lead with courage, live with purpose, and become the best versions of themselves, just as Chris always encouraged others to do.
