At the Britt Foundation, mentorship is not just a program—it’s a calling. Our goal is to develop young leaders through adventure, pushing them to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. We believe that mentorship is about more than just guidance; it’s about walking alongside someone, investing in their journey, and leading by example.

A well-planned and thoughtful mentorship program encourages mentors to connect with mentees on a personal level. We prioritize the development of strong, trusting relationships that inspire, motivate, and help mentees pursue their future goals. We do this by engaging in high-adventure experiences, challenging young people to step outside their comfort zones, and equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary for leadership.

Why We Do This

The Britt Foundation is built on the principle of love, patience, and unwavering commitment to the next generation. We believe that real growth happens through time spent together, shared experiences, and overcoming challenges side by side. Whether it’s scaling a mountain, diving into the depths of the ocean, or enduring the struggle of a long hike, these experiences build resilience and character.

Being a mentor isn’t always easy. There will be moments of frustration, setbacks, and times when giving up seems like the easiest option. But we believe in second, third, and fourth chances. We believe in showing up, again and again, to remind our mentees that they are valued, capable, and strong.

Giving Veterans a New Purpose

Our mentorship program extends beyond young people—it also provides a new purpose for veterans transitioning out of the military. Many veterans struggle with finding their place after service, and we believe that their leadership, experience, and resilience make them incredible mentors. Through our adventure-based mentorship, veterans have the opportunity to lead, guide, and inspire the next generation while finding renewed purpose in the process. By stepping into this role, they continue to serve, not in uniform, but in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.
