Martin Brittingham Jr.
is the Founder and Chairman of the Britt Foundation, a business owner, veteran, outdoorsman, husband, and father. With years of experience in both leadership and service, Martin has been actively involved with several humanitarian groups across the United States and internationally, supporting missions that bring aid and hope to communities in need.
A passionate outdoorsman, Martin believes in the power of nature to transform lives. His vision for the Britt Foundation is rooted in making outdoor adventures more accessible to the younger generation—equipping them with opportunities for growth, leadership, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
Martin Brittingham Sr.
is the Treasurer of the Britt Foundation, a retired nuclear engineer, outdoor enthusiast, and adventurer. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he is also a proud husband of 42 years and father of six children. After commissioning as a U.S. Navy officer, he served five years with the nuclear submarine force before transitioning to the private sector. He then spent 35 years with General Electric’s Nuclear Division, specializing in nuclear power plant startup, testing, and new design development.
He holds dual master’s degrees in General Engineering and Business Administration (MBA), earned during his tenure in San Jose, California.
In his free time, Martin Sr. enjoys camping, sailing, hiking, and swimming. He also helps oversee the logistics of Britt Brew and continues to serve actively on the Britt Foundation Board.
Brian Tucker
is a businessman and real estate developer with degrees in Business and Economics and a Master’s in Dispute Resolution. After serving as Vice President for over a decade at Charles Schwab, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded a development company.
He is also a partner in Tactical Air Operations, the contracted Static Line and Freefall School of the United States Navy, where he has been directly involved in advanced military training programs. In addition, Tucker is a partner in Skydive San Diego and the founder of Punta Brava Golf & Surf Club, a private, world-class golf destination designed by Tiger Woods.
Captain Fitzhugh “Fitz” Lee
Retired Navy Captain Fitzhugh “Fitz” Lee served 24 years in the United States Navy as an F/A-18 pilot. A decorated combat veteran, Fitz held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as the Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 27 the Royal Maces. In recognition of his skill and leadership in aviation, he was honored as the 2007 Michael G. Hoff Attack Aviator of the Year.
Beyond his distinguished military service, Fitz continues to invest in the next generation of leaders, drawing on his experience, mentorship, and dedication to service.
Ryan Penne
With 17 years in Special Operations and 6 years of international disaster relief work, Ryan has instructed and led elite teams around the globe. He is a current paramedic, Air Force Pararescue Team Leader, SCUBA Master Diver, and Senior Mountaineer. His background includes multiple combat deployments, search and rescue operations, natural disaster responses, outdoor adventure trips, a BS in Psychology and an MBA. On his off time, you’ll find him mountain biking, rock climbing, and petting all the dogs.
Matthew Mansfield
is a capable, determined, and creative project manager with a background in mechanical engineering. He has a strong ability to quickly analyze and master new tasks and projects.
Calm under pressure, Matthew brings excellent team-building and leadership skills to every endeavor. An outdoor enthusiast, he is passionate about getting more young people to experience the beauty and challenge of the outdoors. He is also a devoted husband and father of three, committed to leading by example both at home and in the community.
